deep in the Mendip Hills in one of the finest limestone gorges in the country,
Cheddar Gorge, Somerset. Nestled in
the lower gorge next to Cox’s Mill in one of the ‘coach-house’ style
outbuildings is The Gorge Bear Company.
We
pride ourself on an excellent range of over forty different artists bears
ranging from April Dobson, Homeless Bears to Sweet Shop Bears. We stock an
excellent range of mechanical yes/no bears by local artist wood-u-like bears as
well as the smallest hand made teddy bear you will have ever seen (from 6mm).
Manufactured
bears stocked include Boyds, Deans (Clubstore), Gund, Hermann Spielwaren,
Hermann Teddy Original, HoneyBears, Jellycat, Manhatten Toy Co, Merrythought (Clubstore),
Robin Rive, Russ Berrie, Steiff (Clubstore), and many more … too many to list

also stock a large range of Paddington, Pooh, and Rupert Bears.

are appointed stockists for Gotz and Waltershauser Dolls.
